These bowls are handmade and hand-hammered. They vary slightly in weight and diameter. While we list the diameter as inches, they are made considering centimeters. Ounces are describing grams. It is the sound and energy of the bowl that are most essential.

The Lotus Singing Bowl is a beautiful, bronze bowl, with a gold lotus flower etched into the interior base of the bowl. This bowl has two registers, a high and a low. To reach the high register, you can strike the bowl with a harder mallet, to reach the lower one use a softer mallet. Both can be reached simultaneously if the bowl is struck with two mallets. Happily, the sustain of the tones is quite long despite the small size of the bowl.
