Collection: 432 Hz Crystal Singing Bowls and Sets

In the middle of the 20th century, musical leaders in the West got together and determined that 440 Hz would be the standard frequency for the A above middle C. Prior to that decision, some symphonies and orchestras used 448 Hz, others used 428 Hz or 432 Hz. In the last few decades, people have become interested in re-exploring 432 Hz as the standard for A. Note: When a set is listed as an A=432 Hz set, it means the bowls in that set are chosen using 432 Hz as the standard pitch for A above middle C. It does not mean that each of the bowls in that set (or any of the bowls in that set) have an exact pitch of A at 432 Hz themselves. It means the tuner is set to the A 432 Hz tuning standard – as opposed to A 44O Hz – when selecting the bowls. Additionally, when using a tuner to measure a bronze bowl's pitch, it's common to get different notes when a bowl is sung vs. tapped. It may also read differently when it is cold vs when it has been warmed up through playing. When we build these 432 Hz sets, we accept a certain level of deviation and flexibility, but they are built around 432 Hz being the standard for A.
