Heart Chakra Tuned Bowls (F)

The Heart Chakra, or fourth chakra, serves as our center of love for oneself and others, compassion, empathy, joy, and forgiveness. It is the source of deep and profound truths that cannot be expressed in words.

When the heart chakra is in healthy alignment you will feel surrounded by love, compassion, and joy connected to the world around you. You will feel open to all experiences in life, and it will feel like challenges flow through you and are resolved with ease. An open heart chakra allows us to see all of the beauty and love around us, and truly connect to ourselves, our loved ones, and the natural world.

The note F and color green are typically associated with the heart chakra, so we have found some bowls for those looking to work with the heart chakra in mind.

We also carry a variety of Unlimited Crystal Singing Bowls tuned to the note F that you can find here. As well as Crystal Tones™ Frosted Crystal Bowls tuned to F, here.

Do you offer any crystal bowls tuned to chakra notes?

All of the bowls on this page are tuned to the note of F, which is commonly associated with the Heart Chakra. This doesn’t mean that it’s the only bowl that can be used to cleanse the 4th chakra. We believe that any note can work on any Chakra with the right intention.

We also sell our brand of Unlimited Crystal Singing Bowls in hand-picked 7-Bowl Chakra Sets. You can see those sets here.

Why is the Heart Chakra associated with the note of F?

The Heart Chakra is commonly associated with the note of F because it is the 4th note in the C Major scale (the most common scale in western music, with no sharps or flats), and the Heart Chakra is the 4th Chakra. That means that–in the C Major Scale–the C would be the Root Chakra, D would be the Sacral Chakra, E is the Solar Plexus Chakra, G is the Throat Chakra, A is the Third Eye Chakra, and B is the Crown Chakra. This is how we build our own 7-Bowl Chakra Sets linked in the section above.

We apply this same logic to other scales and keys as well, with the first bowl in a scale being the 1st Chakra and so on. But since C Major is the most common scale, people most commonly associate the note of F with the Heart Chakra. Again, this doesn’t mean that the only note that will help to cleanse the Heart Chakra is an F. It is just a tool for intention, a way to visualize Chakras as musical notes to help charge your healings and sound baths.

Do you have any information on how to play crystal singing bowls?

There’s a ton of information out there on the internet! Playing singing bowls and crystal bowls is fairly intuitive. A great way to get started if you’re unsure is to look at videos online and try to imitate what experienced players are doing.

We have two different YouTube channels with lots of instructions and examples of how to play your Crystal Singing Bowls and other instruments like gongs, bronze singing bowls, chimes, bells, and more.

Our Gongs Unlimited channel has long, uninterrupted sound bath meditations, guided healings, comparisons, and more. Our Product Hub channel shows demonstrations and examples of all of our products. Head to each channel and subscribe for more!

Is a Heart Chakra Crystal Bowl good for a Crystal Sound Bath?

Yes! A Heart Chakra Crystal Bowl is perfect for sound bath meditation and healing, especially when paired with other bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, bells, and more. The Heart Chakra bowl is especially useful if you’re trying to set an intention to clean out the chakras in a spiritual healing meditation. These are also just great bowls on their own!

Do your Crystal Singing Bowls come with everything I need to get started?

Most of our Crystal Singing Bowls come with a mallet or striker, and also a rubber ring for the bowl to rest on. Be sure to read the text towards the top of each product listing, where it says exactly what comes with each bowl. Some bowls only come with a striker and no ring, others don’t come with anything.

We have a wide range of singing bowl accessories, including additional Singing Bowl Mallets, and Carrying Cases & Bags. We also have a huge selection of Bronze Singing Bowls (also commonly known as Tibetan sound bowls, prayer bowls, and healing bowls), as well as an entire store full of gongs, bells, chimes, rainsticks, world percussion, and more.

How do Crystal Bowls compare to other meditation bowls, like Tibetan Singing Bowls, Prayer Bowls, and Sound Bowls?

Quartz Crystal instruments have a very clean, pure sound. The fundamental note is very clear when tapped, and the resonant tones that build on top are gentle and soothing. Each one is fine tuned to have a specific note, and we sell them according to what note they have. In this case, all of these bowls are tuned to F, because they are Heart Chakra bowls.

Bronze bowls, by comparison, are not typically tuned, so their pitch will vary from one bowl to the next. The overall sound is less focused, but still very calming and beautiful. The sonic experience of bronze bowls tends to be much more complex and less contained

Most sound bath practitioners have sound healing collections that include crystal bowls, bronze bowls, gongs, and more. Every instrument brings something unique to the sound healing experience, filling the sonic space.
